We have stayed at this property for a total of five summers starting in 2007. You could say we like it, and we certainly do. We have visited France many times and have stayed in many properties over the years. We can honestly say that this is one of the best. It is ideally situated to visit the many sights in the region. The owners, Stephanie and Robert, make improvements to the villa each year. We have met them and they are a charming and very helpful young couple. The villa is attractive, has a pretty enclosed garden with a large swimming pool. The whole property is clean, well-maintained with many facilities that are now the expected norm. The livingroom has an enormous flat-screen television that receives English, Freeview and French programmes. The air conditioning in the main bedroom is particularly welcome on hot summer nights. Places to see and restaurants in the area are too numerous to mention. However, we would recommend a visit to the Tourist Information Office in Uzes where there are lots of brochures and the staff are very helpful. Also the Visitors Book in the villa is well worth a read regarding what to see, do and where to eat (including many honest comments worth noting). Uzes is one of our favourite places. It has lots of charm with excellent cafes, bars and restaurants: absolutely wonderful for people-watching. Although it is just the two of us, the villa is ideal for families - the pool will be particularly enjoyed by children, teenagers and adults alike. We usually take two days to get there and two days to return staying in Premiere Classe Hotels (Rouen/Clermont Ferrand going and Bourges/Boulogne homeward), both via the Channel Tunnel. In a nut-shell: the area is breathtakingly beautiful (ideal for art and history lovers) the villa is excellent and we thoroughly recommend it without hesitation.
